New Jersey offers a 30% (35% in certain counties) corporate tax credit for motion picture and television production expenditures. In 2025, the New Jersey Hiring Bonus was introduced and productions can receive an additional 4% on qualified expenses. Productions must incur at least 60% of film production expenses in-state or more than $1 million in qualified expenses, with an annual cap of $100 million per fiscal year.
