Maryland’s film production incentives include a refundable tax credit of 25% for films and 27% for TV series on eligible production-related expenditures, including wages, with a maxiumum amount of $125,000 per project. The program requires a minimum in-state spend of $500,000 and requires that 50% of principal photography occur in Maryland. Program funding is subject to appropriation.
