Beginning in 2024, the rebate will change to a refundable tax credit, providing $2.5 million per year to productions originating in Colorado, where qualifying in-state expenditures will be eligible for a 20-22% tax credit (depending on location), provided 50% of the cast and crew are Colorado residents.
